Sheetal’s Core Pilates is a pilates studio in Mumbai that focuses on fitness and overall health. Started in 2013 by Sheetal Shah, Sheetal’s Core Pilates in South Mumbai has helped many clients from homemakers to athletes, to improve their fitness, flexibility, stamina and overall health.
After having 2 children, Sheetal moved on from her career in a prominent local assets management firm to focus on motherhood & family life. However, her heart was always on maintaining her fitness levels. In a constant endeavour to maintain herself, she tried virtually everything; from aerobics, weight training, yoga and spinning. Despite exploring & training at all avenues, she found something lacking in her routine, essentially a mind-body connection missing. She realized a gap that needed to be bridged.
On her journey to finding a holistic healthy lifestyle, she stepped into the world of pilates. Thereon began a new profound journey with a certified training course from Balanced Body Inc. in 2013. Within the course, she mastered many types of pilates equipment. After completing her course, she started Sheetal’s Core Pilates Studio in Mumbai through which she helped several clients enhance their fitness, flexibility, and overall well-being.
Pilates is a method of exercise and physical movement designed to stretch, strengthen, and balance the body. With systematic exercises and focused breathing patterns, Pilates has proven to be a highly successful training routine, as a fitness endeavour and also as an important adjunct to professional sports training and physical rehabilitation of all kinds.

I've been taking pilates classes in Miami for almost two years now and Sheetah has challenged my body like no one else! I was in Mumbai for a few weeks and easily became addicted to her sessions. I have done a few sessions with Sheetal. I am a long distance runner and want to strengthen my core and improve my flexibility and stability.
