Core Pilates is a Mumbai based Pilates studio that focuses on fitness and overall health. Started in 2013 by Sheetal Shah, Core Pilates has assisted several clients from homemakers to athletes, to improve their fitness, flexibility, stamina and overall health.


Sheetal gave up her career in a prominent local assets management firm to focus on raising her two children over 20 years ago. However, her heart and soul was always into fitness and in an endeavour to maintain her fitness levels she

experimented with virtually every offering including aerobics, weight training, yoga and spinning. Despite exploring all of these avenues, she still found something lacking in her routine.


Her journey with Pilates began with a certified training course from Balanced Body Inc. in 2013. After completing her course, she started Core Pilates from her home studio through which she has helped several clients enhance their fitness, flexibility and overall well-being.



Pilates is a method of exercise and physical movement designed to stretch, strengthen, and balance the body. With systematic exercises and focused breathing patterns, Pilates has proven to be a highly successful training routine, as a fitness endeavour and also as an important adjunct to professional sports training and physical rehabilitation of all kinds.


When practiced diligently, Pilates can help improve several aspects of health and lifestyle. Here are just some benefits regular pilates practitioners have experienced:

Individual private sessions are conducted throughout the week at the Core Pilates studio. The one hour sessions are scheduled between the following time slots.


Weekdays (Monday to Friday) - 8am to 2pm | 5pm to 8pm

Weekends (Saturday & Sunday) - 9am to 12 noon
